Dropdown SELECT boxes unable to scroll in Chrome?

Unable to use the mouse scrollbar

Anyone else having this problem? I haven't tried debugging this yet, but on numerous websites (including my own) that have a scrollable drop down SELECT box I can't drag the scrollbar with the mouse - it simply doesn't move!?

I can use the mouse wheel and the keyboard no problem (and the scrollbar moves), but trying to drag the scrollbar does nothing?

This is a relatively recent change to Google Chrome, but can't be sure exactly when.

It's not just drop down select boxes, some other scrollable containers don't work either (like the right pane in Chromes Dev Tools, but the left side is OK).

And it's not all SELECT controls... I just did a quick test that works OK.

There seems to be numerous reports of this on the net, and a bug has been reported:

SELECT elements whose content is more that a certain width appear to have this problem. This also appears to be linked to the issue of the last item not highlighting on hover, although it is still clickable.
