My Google chrome keeps telling me I need to update but I cannot find a link anywhere in the chrome menu. So where do I go to up date. I keep getting an error that my Google profile did not load properly and features may not be available. Last time I booted up and got that error when I closed Google I could not reopen it until i rebooted. I've had a problem with the ConduitA, Search ** virus that Avast nor Malwarebytes did not catch. I have been struggling to get that cleaned up and in the process may have removed something I should't have.

Any help here with either the virus problem or where to go to update Google will be much appreciated.

Google Chrome is a browser and I think you are confusing with it. To update the chrome browser the click on the Chrome menu icon top right. In that click on About Google Chrome and your browser will start updating. I would like to inform you that the time that it will take depends on your internet connection speed.

I tried this and it says it's currently updated but I keep getting an error message that Chrome should be updated and my menu bars are orange indicating it needs to update. not sure how to handle this. I am not happy about the effects that the ConduitA has had on this pc. It was a very nice system until that happened. Now, not so much. Almost more trouble than it's worth at this point. If you have any suggestions as to where to point me for this assistance it would be much appreciated.

Try creating a new browser profile: [support.google.com...]

As for the virus/malware/adware, try SUPERantispyware (free) and/or HitmanPro (free trial).
