Google Adverts showing Bright Orange Logo Next to Them

Anyone else seen this?

Just done a search on Google and the top three adverts (at the top) have an orange logo with the word 'Ad' on it (background orange, text white).

The right side has one for the whole list.

They really stand out.

Anyone else seeing this?

(My searches are in the UK)

I have been seeing this for about a week here in the USA on certain searches.

That is weird I just began seeing them today. I know they weren't there yesterday or for that fact for a week much less since this post. Heck I just made a post on it myself. I did some ppc work last nite and really many times since this post. I always go back and check the ad after doing it to see it displayed.

I'm still seeing the old-style ads with the peach/beige background. Not a yellow "Ad" icon in sight.

This is a really stupid idea. The last thing I want is clear differentation between those that pay to get to the top via adwords, vs those that get to the top of organic by spending money on SEO.

Looks like google has reverted back to a darker background color and removed the ads image.
