They probably need your ID to be able to invite you to their MCC. Thats all.

Once they got your ID they will invite you to their MCC, which you would have to give permission for. Then they can view your account using their MCC

They only need your customer ID - no first name is required. They then request access, you decide whether or not to authorise it, and assuming you do, they then have access.

But there's nothing temporary about it. Either you or they have to revoke access.

I don't know what they're up to, but if you haven't granted access you can safely ignore it.

Yea, they said I can revoke access but they made a point that I don't need to do anything beyond give them my name and customer ID.

I assume the sales rep missed the part of me specifically granting access after I give my ID.

But wanted to double check that there is no way a company can just get ur ID and first name and gain access. Seemed like a wild implementation, if it worked that way.

You can sleep at night! You still need to authorise their access once they have this information.
