I am running over 2000 ad groups in a single campaign.

I have a feel that those limits outlined in the help section are outdated. I would safely say that there are no real limits on the maximum number of adgroups.

The campaign limits however are still active.

Are you sure you have over 2000 in a single campaign? Google won't let me add a single one over 2000. Maybe it's because I'm using the API.

From my experience, these limits are not set in stone. If you bring in sufficient dough and can explain why you need so many Ad Groups in a single campaign, any thing goes.

inasisi is correct. I always run out of limit and so far Google has increased my size enough that it never happens again. I have huge campaigns.

Right on, I'll contact them now. I'd love to not rewrite my app.
