Adwords - singular or plural ?

Hi Guys

I am newish to Adwords, and would like to know if they are sensitive to singular or plural.

Eg If I want to use a keyword such as mug, do I need to enter it twice eg mug and mugs ?

Ie If I only enter mug (singular) and somebody searches for mugs (plural) will they see my keyword ?

Keywords are not case-sensitive, so 'flights to new york city' is recognized as the same keyword as 'flights to New York City.'
it is suggested to have both (singular & plural)in your keyword List
Broad match can match to relevant variations, but it's not guaranteed. So mug as keyword may or may not trigger your ads on Mugs
This is because the system learns over time whether or not certain
variations perform well for you or not and if not, your ads will no
longer match to certain variations. Thus, as a best practice, if a
variation is important to you, its recommended to including that variation
to the account.

It's also possible to have a Great QS on one version (plural or singular) and a Poor QS on the other. Which very occasionally can make sense in some circumstances, but overall is mostly just ridiculous and a PITA.

in addition to the quality score being different, ROI can vary considerably as well (but not always). you're gonna have to experiment with it.
