Hi all,

Just thought I'd jump in to let you know there's currently an issue that is causing a stats delay this morning - at least 4 to 5 hours delayed, according to early info I've received.

Ads continue to run as normal, however. And, engineering is all over it to get things resolved ASAP, of course.

I will try to update you as I learn more - but I do also want to set reasonable expectations: I will not be anywhere near a computer for major portions of the day, today. ;)

I wanted to give folks an advance heads-up that I will be away from all things AdWords for a month - December 21st through January 15th, returning to a what I expect to be a lot of backed-up work (and thus not a great deal of time for forum posting for a while) on January 18th. There is a least a chance this will get extended for an additional week or slightly more. In either case, I will be not be reading or posting during that time - and, if it seems as if I am ignoring things for an extended period of time, this would be why. ;)

Unfortunately, I was not able to arrange for a stand-in to post under the nick of AWA2 as I have been able to do in the past - so there will be no one from Google reading or posting here. Likewise, the Advertiser Feedback Report that I have sent out each week for the last six and a half years to AdWords teams here at Google (and which always includes a great many verbatim quotes from members of this forum) will not be sent.

This may be a good time to mention that while I can not speak for other 'corporate' members who post on WebmasterWorld (and, also, contrary to multiple posts by another forum member saying that many people from Google post under my screen name) no one has ever posted under the name of AdWordsAdvisor, except for me: 6.5 years, 4700+ posts, one person. I bring this up by way of clarifying an incorrect impression and, not incidentally, because I am proud of it.

I'll still be around next week - but less present than I might prefer due to many tasks that must be wrapped up before the 21st.
