Google Ads at the bottom of SERPs?

Seeing Google Sponsored links at the bottom of SERPs

I am searching on the Australian version of Google and I have seen sponsored ads showing at the bottom of SERPs.

Wondering if anyone else has seen that and what its all about.

Well...you are in what we call the land down under...so it just makes good sense! I'm in northern Canada so all my ads are at the top! When I asked someone in Venezuala...they have the ads right in the middle!

Those rascals!
