This might be the wrong place for this question - if so, my apologies....
I use Google Adwords with good success. Google recently contacted me and asked whether I would be prepared to participate in a case study of how Adwords works for our company.
The whole thing looks very professional and they even get a professional writer to interview you and do the "write-up". They very clearly state that NOTHING is published without your final approval.
Should I or shouldn't I participate? If our case-study gets published, there is obviously the potential for many-many people to maybe visit our website, but more than likely not the type of people we are trying to attract. More than likely our case-study will attract COMPETITORS! Other companies also looking at using Adwords.
I just dont know!? I was VERY excited about the whole deal when they first contacted me, but some doubt has entered my mind.
Am I being overly cautious?
Any ideas/comments please.
The only reason I would be hesitant is the competition factor but if you are confident in your business model and continued ability to adapt and maximize Adwords then that mighty link and the potential press make it all worth it.
Glad I'm not making the decision:)
I'll wait till I hear back before I mention it.

It's probably worth saying that I make a point of not knowing who any body on WebmasterWorld is in terms of their AdWords account. I don't know, don't want to know, and wouldn't pass it along even if I did find out through stickymail or some other circumstance.
(With the exception being a few WebmasterWorld members I have met, or otherwise talked to personally over the years about their advertising, who have introduced themselves in more detail, and who know I post as AWA.)
