it's not just you, i am having the same thing at my end. there doesn't seem to be any position correlation to what i can and can't click though. apart from i havn't found any of the along the top positions that i can't click on.

I first experienced this behavior a couple of years ago, and found by looking at the raw HTML of the page, that what made a particular ad non-clickable, including mine, was that the ad had code for Google conversion tracking, and that it was being blocked by Norton Internet Security because of one particular string of text. I confirmed this by turning off conversion tracking for a moment on my account and resubmitting another search term to bring up my ad. With conversion tracking turned off, the ad was clickable. And with Norton turned off, the ad was clickable. I documented several examples and sent them to Google, and within a couple of weeks, they had changed something in the conversion tracking code in the link that fixed the issue. I suspect you are seeing a similar, and the issue may be with FireFox, but most likely with some kind of internet security or anti-spyware package you are also running on your PC. Whatever it is, you can be sure anyone else using the same software would also not be able to click the ads, so it should be reported to Google for research and fix.

Is this a more general problem or is it restricted to me?

Over the past few days, I have heard four such reports. Specifically, I've seen the two posts here, one on another forum, and a similar report in an advertiser email.

So, while it does not appear to be a widespread issue, the tech folks have certainly been looking into it. If you're experiencing this, by all means contact AdWords support with as many details as you have time for, and we'll see if we can't get to the bottom of it.

* The version of FF you're using
* A copy/paste of the entire "View/Page Source"

I got the same thing - will write to support;

Nevertheless - it's not only about FF version (mine's updated to 2.0) - iut happens with dynamic kw instertion titles ONLY.

And I discovered it when I was checking on one of my test campaigns and noticed unusually low CTR. It didn't put the keyword in the title, and in for ad which title was 100% dynamic whole title wasn't visible in Firefox.

Additionally, when I created an ad with title like

{KeyWord:Cheap} Widgets

and keyword was short, (it was less than 25 symbols combined with "widgets", it didn't want to put keyword in title for some reason and the title was always "Cheap Widgets". Anyways. Something's wrong with dynamic kw insertion.

I don't know if Google could possibly have this problem but i noticed a similar issue of not being able to click links on my website when viewing in FF.

The problem was overlapping Div sections.
Soon as I made sure they didn't overlap the problem was solved.

It's not the main problem, the problem is - the Big G doesn't want to show dynamic titles for most of my keywords anymore, whatever the browser. It just shows default part of the title, but doesn't insert the keyword in 90% of searches, depending on the keyword.

Stragely, it does work with longer keywords, but doesn't work for some short ones, especially for brand names ;) But at the same time I see other competitors using dynamics that seem to work for them.

What's happening? :(

Hey AWA, please keep us updated on whats happening on this front. Haven't faced such a problem yet but it might be affecting our campaigns (I am assuming we are getting impressions for the keywords).

I think I'm going to try a little experiment too. I'll work on setting up a dedicated email address for the specific purpose of having a place to which forum members could send info, such as that mentioned above. It could be very useful in troublshooting issues such as the one that kicked off this thread.

Maybe we'll give that a try, and see how it works. ;)
