If you were penalised recently by the landing page QS changes.

I am wondering if anybody has gotten their minimun bids reduced after being penalised by the new Landing Page Quality Score?

I have only heard of a couple of people who mangaged to get bids back to normal after being hit (still using the same domain name).

If you did can you state if you got a human review or if it happened naturally after a certain amount of time.

I am beginning to believe that once a domain name has been penalised that you cannot get that domain back in no matter how much you improve your quality score.

I spoke with my adwords rep and she explained exactly what the problems were with my landing page QS. I have since made every single improvement she suggested plus many many more and still have crazy $10 min bids.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I think there was a recent thread on this. The jist, if I remember correctly, was that eventually an adwords advisor said, if possible get a new domain name.....Obviously this is no solution for most people, but works if you are able to do it. In other words they cannot say if and or when your QS is going to be reviewed! Great isn't it? You do all the hard work - try to meed their requirements, and for what? Diddly squat!

I think there have also been some threads indicating that patience can pay off and minimum bids canreduce again after a month or two - not sur if this is dependent on whether you increased the bid if left is mauch as it was.

The other possibility is that you briefly increase the bid - are placed at position minus 25 because of you extreme bis & wonderful quality - so actually get charged much less - then you can bring your bid down to more reasonable levels.
