From what I have heard or seen, the RPM is pretty good still over there. There numbers went down too with the whole cookie thing etc, they even blogged about it on their own site so there is that.

I would recommend you give it a try, from the people who I know use it, most don't complain and 2-3 dropped adsense completely but one is in the travel niche, the other a cooking/lifestyle type site so that probably factors in some variables.

Just give a try, it's a gamble and the 90 day lock is pretty annoying but what if they have higher RPMs? Only 1 way to find out. Good luck and please report back your results. I have yet to join them but I have been invited over the years.
