Hey everyone,

We're currently using auto ads on our website because we believe it's the safest option to avoid any issues with account suspension. However, we're also wondering if manual ads could potentially generate more revenue while still providing a good user experience. 🤔

Also, is it acceptable (and safe) to combine auto ads with manual ads, or could that put our AdSense account at risk?

EX stup:

1- Below Header: Size: 970x90 (or ad-format="horizontal" for adsense)

2- Before Post Content: This section will show an advertise only on single post content.

3- After first (01) or (02) paragraph

4- after (5) paragraph

5- after (7) paragraph .

We're looking for the safest and most effective setup, so any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated! 🙏

Thanks in advance!

There recently was a discussion about this topic - AdSense policy violations when using Auto-Ads with manually placed ads: [webmasterworld.com...]

Maybe that info can help.

I've had both types active on many sites over the years without issue.

For me, dropping one in favor of the other ALWAYS shows a revenue drop - so I think I'm leaving money on the table by choosing one over the other.

AutoAds tends to play well around my fixed manual placements so I let it ride; I usually have 3 to 5 fixed/responsive placements depending on page content length.

Under AutoAds >> Settings, you can set the Max Number of Ads you want to allow as well as the Min Number of Distance between ads. I keep the Max Number of Ads at 6 and the Min Distance at about the 50% mark (150px). Never had an issue with this arrangement.
