Just got this email from Adsense and it caught my eye...

"Based on feedback from publishers, we are piloting a beta initiative to provide more information to publishers experiencing deductions in their earnings. We hope this information helps you to better understand possible causes and work on improvements for future months."

Hopefully, we will get a better information to work with when rooting out invalid click activity. It's a long time coming and can only benefit us, Google, and advertisers.

Unfortunately, I am not saying anything new. At the beginning of this situation (RPM DROP - CPC -> CPM) they were responding to tickets. The problem is that he replied to everyone with the same message (unpersonalized, template type). Today I'm sending as a notification... But it's not ok. A company of the caliber of Google treats publishers with disrespect. I am personally disappointed.

I got this email too, earnings dropped to around $2 /day from around $35 - $45 a day. This makes no sense to me, I am getting normal traffic, but they pay me $2 for 12 000 unique visitors, and 90% of them from from Google organic search.

The decline started around 18 March 2024.

I show captcha to all users that open more than ~3 pages, now I added CloudFlare captcha verification to all pages that have AdSense, no sign of improvement yet.

Only thing that makes sense is that eider they are getting a bigger share of the earnings, or they implemented a very faulty invalid click detection.

@Adrian exact same here, also from 19.3 . I also added captcha from cloud flare but doesn't help much.

Did earnings recover for any of you ? Mine didn't, over a month now.
