Hi,

I've been with adsense for over 10 years and receintly I'm having the following issue. Apreciate Input:

1. The ''Earings at risk - You need to fix ads.txt file..' alert appears
2. I click on Fix Now and see:

Approval Status: Ready
Ads.txt Status: Auhtorized

3. Click on my domain , then get the "Check for updates: Ads.txt found"" message - so evrything seems fine here.

So after this, I keep getting the alert over and over again. It's been happening for the last 3 days.

- I have not touched the ads.txt file
- My website is hosted in Godaddy.

Thanks

Have you checked to see if you can read your own ads.txt file on the domain where you're having trouble? They are looking for it in the domain's public directory where your homepage is found so if you can go to https://example.com/ads.txt and see your file, I would not worry - unless it is supposed to be at https://www.example.com/ads.txt.

Do you have multiple sites using AdSense? Be sure the same ads.txt file is on each domain where they look for it.

Rarely, people submit a domain for AdSense and get approval, upload the ads.txt file but don't bother using the same domain as was approved because https://www.example.com is a different domain from https://example.com as far as Google is concerned. If that is the case you need to rewrite all requests for the wrong domain format to the correct domain format so that visits to https://example.com go straight to https://www.example.com with a 301 response.
