I am curious about others' GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) content rates when using AdSense's messaging tool. My consent rate is 90% with an EEA & UK traffic rate of 12%.

74% for 17% traffic.
Implemented a custom logo / message prompt just yesterday though as a test - we'll see if the number upticks after about 30 days.

Do you use the default message and styles, or did you customize it ?

@Peter_S
I used the default message and styles.

I went ahead and did customized prompts for all my sites last week and have seen a 2% jump in Consent Rate in six days (up to 76% from 74%).
Might be on to something here...will report again later this week.

I'd like to refine the text, but in the other hand, I appreciate that , Google provides a message in different languages. I don't have the skill to write my message in all available languages, and if I use an online translator, there is a risk it sounds silly.

77% today.

So 74% with the basic message and now 81% with the customized message for GDPR.

Did you customized the text? The style? Or both? Also, do you show a "do not consent" button? And what about the close button, (refuse) ?
CommandDork

@Peter_S
Custom logo, custom text, and I do NOT show the Do Not Consent Button - just Manage Options and Consent. They can close it out with the X on the panel if they want. Otherwise they can leave (I don't run a charity).
Now up to 83% over the two weeks for those still interested.

Thank you @CommandDork. You are from the US, so you don't really risk anything, but the rule in Europe, is that, action of "consent" or "not consent", should be accessible the exact same way, meaning, one button for each, and supposedly same color, shape, etc... This is what Google is doing for its own sites.
Talking about "leaving", please note that Google is NOT counting them, in the % . So, you don't know your bounce rate. Other CMPs do show all stats.

After three weeks, up to 87% consent rate (17% EEA/UK traffic).

I am satisfied. It's not bad at all.
Much better than a website where I have Quantcast consent. There is CR 77.43%.
Hmmm...
Looks like I'm going to change Quantcast consent to Google/Adsense consent. The difference is more than 15%.

Beware that Quantcast and Google are not counting the consents the same way.
The % that Quantcast is showing is related to ALL visitors who have been presented the consent message.
The % that Google is showing is related only to visitors who made a choice. In other word, Google is excluding from the calculation visitors who bounced.
However, I do believe the message and design of Google's banner is better. Of-course, Google has a battalion of devs and lawyers who certainly optimized it.

Today I switched to Adsense consent for one website. I liked Quantcast better and it has no problems with website freezing, like when Adsense consent is used, but I still decided to try Adsense consent for this website as well (this was the only one with Quantcast consent), to see how things would turn out.
btw
One of the reasons is that I don't know how it will work in practice from January 2024 Quantcast with Adsense. I'm afraid that it might happen that Adsense doesn't recognize Quantcast and then serves its consent, where the visitors would possibly get 2 consents, one from Quantcast and the other from Adsense.

What is your bounce rate like. Mine went up after implementing it. It seems that a chunk of people see the notice come up on their first visit and just press the back button straight away

I switched to Quantcast again. The fact that Adsense/Google consent has problems with correctly displaying anchor Ads for mobile and desktop, without freezing the website, frustrates me enormously.
By the way, they have been aware of this problem for more than a year and nothing has been done about it.
be careful what you measure and calculate! For my site I have also 90% consent rates, 10% rejects/individual settings - BUT there are also 25% bounces. And this is the thing, that costs me real money! 100 percent traffic ./. 25% bounces = 75% traffic ./. 7.5% rejects = 67.5% "real" consent rate.
And if you think those bounces are anyway users who wouldn't click on ads then you are wrong. I have experienced it first hand.

It's interesting what you're getting, and, how it's improving, or the problems with users leaving the site.
I took it from the other angle to investigate what people think. I asked about 200 people in the last quarter of 2023: The vast majority cannot be bothered other than to click "accept" or "consent" whichever you prefer to look at it. Around 10% will take the time and trouble to investigate the options. Around 5% leave the site if they can't find an easy option to decline. I make that 15% of people looking for something, but failing to find an easy solution of "reject" to get to the information on a site.
Personally, if a site makes it too difficult i'll back out immediately, so i'd be a bounce.

If I do not see 'Options' I leave. Accept or Reject 'only' would cause me to leave. It's like signing a blank paper.

EEA and UK traffic rate 98% Consent rate 94%
the thing is, I know EU traffic for me is probably 50% of my site's traffic so why is it showing as 98%. Is it because it's just started or is that stat something I'm not understanding?

Clickio gives me only abou 80% consent Europe, 94% looks like a dream to me, maybe I should switch to google's solution. Anyone tested clickio vs google?

@rafraf+ Check exactly what is measured (bounces in or our). But yes: I compared Googles solution with consentmanager and google performed better. I had the impression it loads much faster.

Is everyone else seeing 'EEA/UK Traffic Rate' stat removed? I've had back and forth with google over this, them saying the figure was correct, me saying it absolutely wasn't. And today it's gone...

Yes, removed for me too.
Also, if you download the report from the 'Download reports' link you'll see stats for 'IAB (European regulations)' are now included. That's new for 2024.
As an aside, for a few days now the Google Adsense GDPR and Ad blocking recovery messages are not showing on my sites, despite being 'published' via the Adsense interface. Adsense ads are still showing regardless.
