I didn’t have high hopes for the start of this month because usually the last few days of a previous months tells what the start of the next month will bring so I’m not surprised with todays terrible numbers.

Summer just overall seems like a terrible time for Adsense. Can we just skip to August/September? Ha!

I believe that we may be in for a very bad ad revenue period for the foreseeable future. We know the governments have been trying their best to postpone an evitable depression. Eventually, it has to occur. In the United States right now many companies are laying off individuals. This is the first time in over 10 years that I am planning on going back into the workforce. I can’t keep dipping into savings to pay personal bills. However, the timing may not be best for getting a job.

How June 2023 compares to past 4 years for me:

2022 - 2023 is Up 5%
2021 - 2023 is Down 31%
2020 - 2023 is Up 42%
2019 - 2023 is Equal

My revenue has been all over the place the past four years.

The media in general looks like a mess right now. What going on with Elon Musk and Twitter right now seems like he’s purposely sabotaging it.

Not a lot has changed here except CPC, and that's down 25-30% Not a total surprise given uncertainty over the economy etc But I'd rather not be taking a pay cut as inflation goes in the opposite direction.

Doesn't help that its 1) the end of a month, 2) the start of a new month and 3) a long 4th of July weekend in the U.S. - so lots of people traveling/outdoors since Friday.

Might see some recovery starting Weds/Thurs of this week I would think.

@commanddork that’s what it’s looking like honestly. Hope there’s change after the 4th of July. The lows kind of make me dislike the summer and want it to be over lol.

Adsense getting worse and worse hundreds of automatic ads fluttering through the editions, to collect a few cents

Bad 4th of july and I’m getting less revenue than I received last 4th of July.

Niche is accounting and taxes, 2500K pageviews per month and earning 200$ sucks. Traffic is from India. Any Indian here facing same issue or its just me.

I am from the USA and stopped promoting in India a while back. Virtually no revenue comes from there for me even thought it's my 3rd highest traffic country. India is BY FAR the worst country for RPM and also the worst for CPC...for me.

Continual flat to downfall earnings trend. Dont know how the ecosystem can ever recover. Most the internet blind to ads now. Google needs to figure out or sunset. I am doing quite well with Amazon Associates, but doesnt compare close to my AdSense earnings still (even as AdSense is bad now)

I'm down 75% from 2020, and it just keeps diving downward ever since.

Ya, down 36% at the start. Still enough to pay the bills but it's getting lower and lower every year.

The organic search adjustments havent helped any.

Mines not even enough to pay any bills yet.

Down 3% from the previous July.

Down 40%, low RPM, low CPC, lack of clicks, decent views. Month is looking worst than June.
