Related Search - Navigational Units (Are these Link ads?)

I was notified to update my AutoAds for my site to allow this new 'Related Search - Navigation Unit'. When I went in to approve it, all of the descriptive text related to this 'new' unit sounds almost exactly like the old Google Link Units.

Considering I made virtually all my revenue from the old 'link units', I'm not sure if this is just another name for what Google used to have in place but removed in 2021.

I haven't seen this new ad unit appear on my site yet, so I don't know if I'm just misunderstanding what it is.

For those who have seen it, has Google basically re-enabled link units but under a different name and incorporated it into their AutoAd system (once the publisher/webmaster) authorized it?

Does anyone else understand what I'm talking about and have any experience with these ad units?

I'm trying to determine what these are since they sound like the old 'link unit' ad units but I haven't been able to see them on my sites despite enabling them.

I can't find them in my account to enable/test them. Where are they? Or maybe they're on a slow rollout to certain sites?

I haven't seen or read anything about this so I looked it up. You may have already visited their page describing it: https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/10233819

I'm wondering if they are now combining their Bard AI: [webmasterworld.com...] into these units. Yes, they look like the old link units, and you can set styling for your units. These appear to allow you to set the terms to complement your content.
