The month of May in 2023 finished almost exactly the same as May 2022. Only a $30 difference. I guess that is good?

Horrible start to June, today was lowest earnings day in over 10 years.

OK start here. Down about 17% in May YoY but I will take it in this market.

June's start is enough to continuing paying the bills so I will rejoice in that.

Adsense an ruin from 15 euros a day to 5 euros.

If I change something in Adsense, or make improvements to my sites, the 5 euros become 2, it's better not to touch anything.

With 6,500 original posts, organic traffic, no social network.

This occurs from August 2022, and no significant change of improvements by Adsense.

How is everyone doing in June so far? Horrible start here.

June started very badly. But today seems to have started well. figures similar to 2022. I hope this continues for the rest of the week.

No positive results after the test with requestNonPersonalizedAds=1, I am reactivating personalized Ads today on the 3 sites.

Over the years I've found to just turn everything on and let it be - let Adsense maximize my earnings per visitor.

There is always a success story here or there from one or two people that "turning this on or off" has led to a certain amount of increase in revenue. None of it has ever worked for me in the industries I cover for the specific audience I target which leads me to believe there is more to it than that - and maybe just a little bit of coincidence involved.

So these days, I'm all in. Like Google, I'm here to make money first and foremost so I'll let Adsense leverage the data it has on my audience to maximize both their (and my) profit.

My June picked up a bit but there’s still inconsistency. Like yesterday was a great day for clicks, today I’m barely getting any.

June is right on par with June 2022. I am hoping it might edge up a little and end up higher than last year.

My June is actually up so far but the terrible numbers today kind of has me on edge and it can switch anytime.

Has Google finally solved a problem?
A 22% increase compared to the first 6 days of 2022. A daily increase since June 5 of 120% in revenue (RPM and CPC too). The last two days have allowed me to catch up, because June had started really badly for me.

It doesn’t seem to me that they’ve fixed any problems just yet.

Adsense can only give you money when companies give it to them, and we have reccession, be happy you earn anything these days.

My main problem is CPC. The other metrics don't look too bad but CPC is down 15-25% YOY.

Can live with this but it's not ideal. Hopefully see some improvement at start of Q3?

It's gonna be tough going forward; we're in a recession whether the govt admits it or not. If you have any eyes, ears, and hands in the logistics business, you known exactly what is going on - just yesterday, more people walked off the job at the Western ports of the U.S.

I imagine ad spend will be very controlled this summer - might have to wait for the election results of 2024 (U.S.) before any good comes from all this and, even then, it might not matter if it all stays status quo.

@CommandDork, we've been in an up-and-down decline in economic activity for three years now. However, we have not yet met the criteria for a "recession" which is two consecutive quarters of negative gross GDP. Jobs are still plentiful in the USA and companies are hiring. So, that is fending off a recession here.

Clicks are down this week overall compared to last week.

My stats are terrible compared to last year—same traffic. Last year, these two months were the best ones[even November and December earnings could not match these two months]. I still have no idea how these two months had such high RPM last year.

@CommandDork, we had two negative GDP quarters recently. One in 2020 (COVID) and one in 2022. However, the following quarters, 3rd, were positive for each. Now we've had 3 positive quarters running. It'll be 4 positives in a row when this quarter is over.

I wanted to believe it, but no. After 2 great days, well above 2022 earnings. Back to the bad days again.
I thought that a possible update from Google would have had a better impact on the ads displayed to visitors to my sites. Because the increase of June 6 and 7 was generalized to several niches.

Nearly all my sites are earning very poorly last month this month. Exception of one site, that's receiving mostly paid facebook referral US traffic and doing phenomenal. Niche is food / deals.

Now traffic and pay is very low :(

Yes CPC is very low.

It’s still the clicks for me. It’s getting extremely annoying. I don’t know why I had high hopes for this year.

Seems like things are picking up a little. I’m up about 10% over June of 2022. Hopefully this will keep up.
