I have an online tool website. In my reports, my website received a total of 43,350,761 page views in 2022. When we divide this by 12, it makes 3,612,563 page views per month.

In the calculation I made by selecting the relevant region, category and monthly page views on
https://adsense.google.com/start/#calculator
Google tells me that I will earn an estimated $457,550 annually. When we divide this by 12, it makes $38,129 per month.

But in my reports, I earned $10,373 in total in 2022. On a monthly basis, I earned between $600 - $1,200. That's exactly 2% of what the Google AdSense Revenue Calculator gives! As you can see there is a huge difference!

Google AdSense Revenue Calculator gives an estimated value, it does not reflect reality. It is natural to have a difference with real AdSense revenues. But the difference being this large indicates a problem with my site.

Why is my website revenue so low than it should be?

The calculator is "best possible" instead of "reality possible". The quality of ads, the repeat visitors who have already seen them, seasonal changes, world economics, current health scares, etc, can all impact the real world numbers.

Some of us would like to see the same numbers you realized over the past year!

Meanwhile, do know that g always tinkers with the numbers, usually DOWNWARD with clawbacks, invalid clicks, etc. Over the last 10 years that has been refined again and again. Always downward.
