Adsense Policy Violation Issues?

Anyone seeing unusual policy violation issues

I have had a number of entire sites flagged for issues that are in violation of the Adsense rules.

They are set as 'no need to fix', but 'pending review', and ads are restricted until after the review.

(It takes literally 2+ months for them to be reviewed.)

This has been going on for months and months where sites are flagged, ads are restricted, and then the sites are suddenly cleared with a notice that everything is fine and ads will resume in 24 to 48 hours.

Approximately 48 hours later, the sites begin being flagged again, for the EXACT issue they were just cleared of, and another multi-month countdown begins.

Is anyone seeing this type of weird Policy Violation center activity? If so, what can you relay?

Personally do not use adsense, but a few sites I still manage for others have NOT seen this problem. Very unusual!

How are you dealing with User Consent?

If you meant User Consent, my site has opt-in for all contact information settings. It also has checkboxes that must be checked by the user acknowledging all aspects of the information they are entering and all aspects of what we do with the information. We also post the required text for GDPR and CAN-SPAM and other related privacy requirements.

If you meant User Content, my site has programmatic filters, manual reviews, and member reporting tools, so that if anything inappropriate gets through the system, we can act on it quickly.

If I misunderstood or left something out, please let me know. Thanks.

I meant "User Consent" with regards to AdSense policies. In your account interface, most such problems can be resolved using AdSense Funding Choices to deal with compliance. They require traffic to opt in and they may disable ad delivery until the visitor has given consent. Basically it lets AdSense manage the hurdles of regional regulations.

This affected a lot of AdSense accounts in 2021 - 22 so there are many threads and discussions about how to deal with it. It relates to your implementation of ads and your settings and where your traffic is coming from.

Thanks for the information. Since we have so many privacy settings hardcoded, we thought that was sufficient.

The current problems in the Policy Violation definitely do not imply that any issue is related to the above, but it couldn't hurt to implement Google's automated policy systems, once I read through the process.

If I see that this addresses the issue, I will report back, but I'm a bit skeptical. Who knows though? Maybe you zeroed in on what has been an ongoing very confusing repetitive situation.
