I had Content.ad ads on about 1,000 pages of my site (in addition to AdSense ads). I noticed the Content.ad ads weren't loading all of a sudden so I log into my account and am presented with a message saying they're "suspending all business activity" due to "adverse market conditions and an ongoing litigation dispute."

I guess it's just as well, I reached the minimum payout a few times in the four years I was with them but it never added up to a lot.

Wonder what the "ongoing litigation dispute" was all about, the message also said "the company believes it will prevail in its litigation efforts over the next twelve months thus allowing the company to settle any of its outstanding obligations." So apparently they've left everybody they own money to high & dry.

It reminds me of Chitika [webmasterworld.com...] , even if it seems to be different situation, but same result.

Oh wow, I barely remember Content.ad. Interesting to see these 3rd Party places starting to fold.

Having a ghost reappear in October is kind of 'halloween'.
