Zero clicks on my site after placing adsense ads

Hi so after 2.5 years of not using adsense, my adsense account is in open status and my website listed as “Ready”

However after placing new ads on the same website redesigned, I see zero clicks! How should I fix this? Some advice would be greatly appreciated thanks!

Could it be that my adsense account has been "deactivated" I don't see any such mention in my account status though?

Have you implemented cookie consent? Things have changed over the time you were not active, so I would look through their terms and screens in your account interface. It could be a big help to scan through the AdSense threads to get caught up.

No I haven’t implemented cookie consent. What’s a good plugin that does the same?

Google has a tool. It is discussed in many threads here since about February.

In your account, I believe you may find the new AdsManager. Also recently AdSense announced new simplified cookie handling. The details about that are here: [webmasterworld.com...]

Zero clicks. How about impressions? How long has it been since you put up the ads?

Impressions are as per visitor count, in the thousands. Now the ads are in place for about 5 days. I didn't use these ads for about 3 years. The account status is "Open" and site is "Ready" status.
