Hi,

I have tried 2 header bidding companies so far and I'm getting more revenue with Adsense.
The 2nd one generated 25% less than Adsense.

Has anyone with over 1m pageviews experienced something similar?

And also how can we know this companies are not cheating as there is no way to see how much they're getting from demand partners?

I have tried also Infolinks, media net and a couple of more and there is a huge difference between them like Adsense is generating 10 times more than this companies.

I wonder if anyone is really getting more revenue somewhere other than adsense.

Cheers

It isn't the norm but it happens. It depend on your traffic, if most of your revenue comes from user clicks then beating Adsense will be difficult, whereas if you have a high volume of page views with relatively few clicks then header bidding will be better.

Some may fair better but that is rarely the case. As much as we complain about how bad AdSense is, everything else is worse.

Hi,

I have very similar experience. Once I tried ezoic for 3 month they were not able to beat adsense earning (they even compensate me for the difference of amount between adsense/ezoic 50/50split), I tried sulvo, pixfuture, underdogmedia many other solutions. Most of them either generated same of less amount but page load time was really really bad with header bidding.

Hello, fully agree with NickMNS's comments. However if you have enough traffic you can start combining AdSense and header bidding. Use AdSense for high CTR ad placements and header bidding for the rest. You can often make a lot more from AdSense in high CTR placements (100% more is possible), and a lot more from header bidding in low CTR placements. Also do a lot of A/B testing on mobile vs desktop and pick the best ad network for each placement per device category.
