I have four fairly low traffic sites - 2 location/community sites, one tech blog and a general blog.
I got a notice that my ads were disabled because of "invalid traffic concerns". Total page views for all four sites was about 6 thousand/month . Total clicks for that period was about 110..
I've been in the program for a LONG time - over fifteen years. I do NOT click on my own ads. I do not use any shady SEO, purchased links etc,.
I do have corresponding social media pages on Facebook and I also post to twitter.
I use buffer to queue old and new content with about 2 posts/day to the facebook page and twitter.
The one site does get bursts of visitors when I either post something that people like on facebook/twitter or during holidays.
One thing that MIGHT have caused the issue was that I will sometimes open a bunch of pages on my site all at once .. maybe 10 pages, .. And then go and add them to my bufffer.com to post on social media.
Is it possible THAT opening multiple pages at one time might be what the rocket scientists at google are thinking is 'invalid traffic'? Sheeesh if it is.
If that is the case, I can re-adjust my workflow.
Also, I am US Based. I checked my traffic both in adsense and analytics and I don't seem to be getting hit with offshore traffic.
To sum up.
Which was more likely to have caused the shutdown of my ads?
1. traffic from social media (which does not exceed organic traffic)
2. Opening a dozen pages at once.
Thanks
Chris
