What will happen if you miss a Western Union's payment.

Hello
I received my monthly payout from AdSense yesterday, and today I did go to a western union agency to take the money.
Well surprise: they tell me that my national ID is expired. :-( (well d.a.m.ned it is on 17/12/2020).

So, any one know what will happened to this payment? is it will back to my AdSense account for the next month?
or what?

PS: I asked AdSense of course but due to COVID-19, their answer may be late.

You should ask Western Union too. I guess they hold the payment for a given amount of time, then certainly issue a refund to the sender (may be with fees). Then , will Adsense re-credit your account? I am not sure. But it's highly possible they can reissue the payment (may be with fees).

May be you have time to renew your ID card before WU cancels the payment.

Hi,
Thank you very much, I did got a response from AdSense, They told me that there is two options:
1 - I can make a request to cancel the payment, so it re-credited to my account.
2 - As you said try to renew my ID card. (normally WU holds the money for 45 days).

I did choose to renew my ID card because an WU's agency here in my country told me that I need only the receipt of renewing ID Card. So tomorrow I will see if that correct, and take my money.

Just for anyone have encounter this situation in the future:
- I did receive the money with only the receipt of my new ID card.
- Payments are stay in hold by WU at least for 1 week.
