Google has said the new AdSense reporting is now live.

What's new

Simpler to use: Interface is redesigned to make it easier to select date ranges, filters, breakdowns etc. We've also removed metric families and added a new metrics picker.

Easier to visualize: Charts are improved and more closely integrated with the table. You can now display each data series on a chart with a single click.

Better experience on mobile: Reporting is now mobile-optimized page to provide the same improvements on desktop and mobile devices.

More supportive: More in-product help is available for you to hover over the information icons in the interface to get explanations of metrics.

We are launching it in phases, so it might be a week or two before you see it in your own account.

The reports would be much improved if you provided real insights into why you clawback such huge percentages. The term "invalid clicks" is not useful when a publisher knows they aren't clicking on their own ads or directing anyone else to and uses a service to help stop bots.

@LuckyLiz I couldn't agree more.

It's a worrying trend, and not really cricket at all.

I use the Adsense reports to compare year on year for various factors. The new reports are excellent for this as far as I am concerned.

The fact that they now only span 3 years is not so good.

Re the two comments above, the old reports didn't analyse invalid clicks, neither do the new ones.

Be honest, you didn't really expect an analysis of invalid clicks in the new reports - did you? It will never happen.

Google is an information technology giant, but it only shows reports in the last 3 years? What's happening?

g has yet to reveal what constitutes an "invalid click".

Waiting for that day!
