For the last 3 days a desaster

Crazy, but on many days, Exponential is giving me 50-70% of what I'm getting with Adsense. I guess Adsense losing advertisers to other companies. Even with this, Google's Adsense revenue is growing overall.

Not stuck, the usual crappy CPM/CPC.

Seeing very low RPM on the 17th, which doesnt surprise me seeing the quality of the ads. One ad was about a new year party that took place 17 days ago in some very far away country. Ads are of very low quality on my educational site.

On 17 I had -25% revenue than last Friday and it was a new low point.

New low reords each week!

Getting paid 2 cents per click now, I don't know what Google is thinking. This is ridiculous.

From a daily 3 digits revenue on a Saturday to a 2 digits revenue is symptomatic.
This despite a high CTR.
Hope that adsense will start to maintain quality content and get more selective in maintaining some accounts.

Well it's hard for advertisers to spend a lot of money on Google ads when most of the content nowadays is something like "20 life hacks you must see". Billions of low quality ad impressions and almost no intend to buy anything.

Fortunatly they are still advertisers ready to pay 5 usd and more per click following their track record with specific placements.

Some niches can only be offered by Adsense and this applies also to the used languages than English

This past week has been the worst of the past 5 years for me. And today (1/19) is on track to be the lowest day in YEARS despite the traffic being its usual average.

This is getting fascinating, in a perverse/horrific way.

Today, 19th of January 2020 I have the lowest eCPM in my history with Adsense.

Let's see if we can go even lower! I dare you!

Monday is non-working day in US for most of the US people.

At this rate, soon I'll be paying Adsense to put ads on my site.

This is still nothing compared to what is coming. The recession hasn't even officially started yet. When it all blows up, expect CPC drop by another 50% and massive US Dollar devaluation after Trump's re-election. Lower Dollar means lower AdSense earnings if you're not living in the US.

frostitomk, what recession is that? The one predicted in August? Or the one in September? If you wait long enough, one will eventually arrive again. So why not start diversifying your income stream if you think the next one is going to wipe you out?

^^ This. Need to plan for a recession, whenever it happens, by diversifying and protecting your business. In a recession, performance trumps all and those who can deliver real tangible performance on the P&L of advertisers will continue to thrive.

Recession is natural, but you cannot really know when and how bad it will be.
The next recession seems to be IT related, with huge possible impacts on social funds.
I hope I will be able to pay for my internet connection, just to have a maniacal laugh (before I'll throw myself out of the window, but I work on the first floor).

Recession has another definition than RPM drop. It s more about 2 succcessive quarters of negative economic growth
There is no recession (yet).
There is a new approach from Adsense demotivating (SME )publishers to continue their business.
This is similar to the domain industry.

All the complaints but how many of you started with Google Ad Manager and serving for example affiliate ads and header bidding? Most people are lazy and I'm glad Adsense is just a small piece of the pie these days. Most revenue is from affiliates with less impressions than Adsense.

Big drop yesterday - Martin Luther King Day in the states which is a holiday.

I used the Ad Manager for years fex Ad Exchange).
I use header bidding and inventory fill with house ads and affiliates.

The ROI is really insignifiant.
Ad manager is really hard to use.

It's definitely a tool for professionals and semi professionals, I doubt they target the hobby publisher with that one, like Adsense. I had to put in a few days of reading the docs and go over their free course to get things going a few years ago.

Ouch, is everyone aware of the Google algo update a week ago (13 Jan) ?! I just found out now :)
This seems to be my main cause of earnings decrease, I get 50% of normal traffic from Google and CPC decreased considerably.

Is just another Core update. After a lot of Pandas, this seems like something straight.

On the other hand, Adsense is still on the minimum CPC.

I'm showing zero impressions on Adsense since around 6:00 pm ET yesterday.

My bad. Changed ads.txt file, somehow managed to delete adsense.

Anyone noticed stat delay ?

WTF, I hope is stat delay @ Ad Manager, as my figures are less than 50% than usual.

mine about -20% to normal while traffic is the same. so its either a bug in stat or something else
