101% Adsense Bug

Adsense for nov is bad for me, but that is normal being in the travel niche.
Still can't complain with this years earnings. I am in the game for 4 years now and got it to a point were I am making a full time income next to my full time day job.

Horray this Saturday is a new bottom as eCPM :(

On roughly same traffic, November 2019 is about 26% down compared to 2018.

I've put more effort into Youtube in recent months and notice CPM is around 2.5 times better than my websites.

So plan on upping efforts on Youtube next year.

Last weekend I had about 5% less visitors than previous weekend as of numbers from Analytics. Adsense shows me about 30% less ad impressions. No wonder that earnings where also down, Adsense has some serious problems.

I removed Adsense from my site a few months ago as earnings were next to nothing, and now I despise the whole Adsense model in general as I surf the web. I don't appreciate a page plastered with product ads of things I recently looked at, but I used to tolerate them out of respect as a publisher and understanding a need to make money. My perspective has changed and I'll be joining the list of people using ad blockers.

The use of sponsored ads that are general (e.g. auto ads) or sponsored ads that are relevant to the site context are fine, but not personalized tracking ads that Adsense mainly uses as it's advertising model.

I am moving rapidly towards using only affiliate and MLM advertising on my site. When I do, AdSense and Chicory will be a thing of the past.

Skaterpunk, if you couldn't make Adsense work for you, then you couldn't make it work. No need to throw mud in the face of those who still monetize with it.

I believe you misinterpreted my message. My complaint is how Adsense works as an ad serving service. I see no purpose in being inundated with ads of products or services that I…or any person… have previously looked.

I'm not bashing other web publishers for using Adsense.

With Adsense and Exponential I am hanging in there. I have noticed that my Adsense fill rate seems to be getting better and more of my pages are being indexed. I don’t know why so many pages were dropped by Google, but they are slowly coming back. While I am still down about 25% from last year, I am living off my Adsense income. However, I am dreading what may be coming after Christmas. I am decreasing my household expenses in preparation for a 2020 Adsense apocalypse.

Opting out of seeing personalized ads is pretty simple. Look into Google's Privacy Policies - they tell you how to make it stop.

Does anyone in the states know if schools are on holiday now?

November 21, 2019 has passed, and yet it's still "Automatic payment pending" for WU recipients here is Southeast Asia. Maybe the Thanksgiving day in USA is related with this payment delay? Anyone having this issue too?

Thanksgiving in U.S. is not until next Thursday.

Holiday revenue is kicking in here in the USA.

Yesterday and today (so far) I've earnings compared to the good old days. I'm not hopeful for the future because I'm afraid it will be down again from newyearsday.

Same here, yesterday and today are extremely high.May be Adsense finally fixed this bug which is there since 4-5 years ...

Thursday is Thanksgiving, so since tomorrow evening until Monday, all is dead in the US.

Most here don't earn from US visitors lol.

I have a small % of US visitors, but they make most of my revenue.

Holidays are mixed for me because most of my traffic comes from students who are in school and they are out of school during the holidays. However, the CPC and CPM or higher during the holidays. So, while overall revenue is higher during the holidays it would be a lot higher if my web sites were not dependent upon students.

Best numbers of the year so far today. Thank you Black Friday! The clock has turned back, if only for one week.
