Been looking through a few threads for a solution to blank Adsense slots, but most are a couple of years old.

For anyone searching for a potential solution to Adsense slots appearing blank, please check your VPN.

I just did a RWD html5/css3 update to a subdirectory on one of my sites, and was going crazy trying to figure out why ads appeared on other sub directory pages, but not the newly updated sub directory.

Did all the usual code checks, made sure my ad blockers were turned off, caches cleared, etc.. Then lightbulb!

Tuned off my VPN, reloaded the page and voila! Adsense units appeared.

Still not sure why that should be the case, but at least it's useful to know, code etc is correct.

Can only assume the sub directory/pages are considered "new" or there's also some other factor at play now, which I'm not going to stress over. It is what it is with G..

But just thought this might be useful to consider, for anyone else having issues in this regard.
