I have two websites. Completely different.

One is about finance, with high cpc. Mostly organic traffic.
Another one is about travel and culture, with very low cpc. Mostly facebook traffic.

Is it possible that my travel website is hurting my AdSense account, thus hurting my cpc on the finance website ?

I started to push this travel website in june, before that is traffic was neglictible...

Different topics/niches/websites attract different traffic. In the view of advertisers your sites are two unrelated domains of interest to two (or more) groups of advertisers. Advertisers pay different amounts for traffic with different intent. If you are in the business of sunglasses you would want your ads shown on a site related to travel more than on a site related to finance. Businesses offering financial services would prefer to show ads on your finance related site. How much they pay for either choice depends on their goals, the amount of competition and the profitability of their product.

If something is lowering the cpc on your finance related site it is far more likely to be related to the current markets and competition than your other website.
