don't panic, it's sunsetting the android/ios app, not the adsense program.

don't know how many of you use the app. i sometimes use it but not as often as before since the earnings plummeted a while back and have remained paltry.

off topic, but to me this is kind of a good new for developers. the app world maybe shifting more towards pwa/spa, which means less need for targeted os app development skills, unless the app needs specialized capabilities.

Feeling sad, I use it frequently. The app's good when I have dedicated login to the adsense account. So it doesn't mix with my default browser too much.

I guess now I need to use a dedicated browser to check my adsense stats.

I use this app several times a day to keep an eye on things and make sure nothing strange is going on. I’m only at my laptop for half the week due to other commitments, so I’m pretty annoyed about this. Good thing I’ll be leaving adsense soon anyway.

What prevents you from checking your account from the adsense site, with your mobile device?

This has been my question since the advent of site based apps. Never saw the point to making one for mine (even when users asked for one)..

Having said that, I too use the Adsense app but it's not as feature rich as the site so I'm glad they're retiring it. I thought they would evolve it some but they never did.

I don’t like being logged in to Google all the time because I don’t trust Google anymore.

One click and a one second wait and the app shows me my earnings.

The web interface is terrible, harder to read, and much slower than using the app.

I hate having to mess around getting past the 2 step verification.

I don’t have the same reports available.

This makes sense; in 2019, there's really no need for a dedicated, native app if it doesn't use the phone's GPS or camera capabilities. I believe Google's plan is to make the web app a better user experience, and provide a better product.

What tells you that the App is not keeping you logged too ? :) I am sure the app calls home, and set a "web" tracking system too.

This will be a pain in the arse.

I have my google account for my email - and I have a different google account for my Adsense - which I only use for Adsense. And it is used for my Adsense app.

2 google accounts.

One thing google doesn’t do very well is switching accounts.

Every time I want to check my earnings now - it’ll first try to use my email google account, then I’ll have to try and switch accounts which won’t work.

The app isn’t tracking me around the web and recording all my searches.

Shame. I like to just click on the app to check earnings without having to go to a web browser. Particularly as the web browser uses a different google account.

Ya, they must have enough data to make it clear this is the right direction to go in.

I've appreciated the app. It's not fully-fledged but it gives a quick glance on many things during the day.
