Not sure if this is been mentioned on another thread but Google now requires verification and checking before existing Adsense users can monetise new sites:

Makes sense really. It's always struck me as odd that once through the initial application process, you can stick code on anything and everything. This strikes me as an incentive for scrapers and MFA sites.

Good.

I wish it could end the brand safety, and feed all pages of a site being approved.

The thing is, I think that all sites were already more or less reviewed, because, if you were doing something fishy, you get warnings from Adsense, or having ads disabled. So there was already in place. (automatic). So I wonder if the difference will be that all new sites will be reviewed by a human, and not an algorithm. Or, may be in fact, nothing is changing, and this announcement is just made to scare and discourage (bad) publishers .
