Anchor ads position?

Hi

Is there way to configure the Adsense's anchor ads to be at the bottom (or at the top)? When Adsense introduced them, they were always at the bottom, but apparently, now, they are randomly* at the bottom or at the top of the screen.

Problem is, that I had a quick link bar , being sticky on top of the screen, at one of my site; and whenthe anchor ads is on top, both bands are overlapping each others. So I removed my sticky bar... Isn't there an option, to force the anchor ads to be at the bottom ?

*randomly for a mere mortal, but for Adsense's AI, there is a certainly a pattern.

No problem! I knew I read about the feature at one point because I was having the same problem. I think there's a period of learning for the AI though as I've not seen a top-anchored adblock since the early days of the feature.

I guess that, depending of the country of the visitor, his profile, the theme of the page, etc, the AI might guess if a top or bottom position is better performing.

Personally I would "think" that a bottom placement is better, but at the Adsense's page you linked, they claim the opposite.

It's also highly possible that, for EU visitors, Adsense prefers to display a top anchor ad, considering that there is a high probability the bottom will already be used for a cookie banner.
