Hi I am looking to talk to people who own a site with AdSense Custom Search Ads Specifically, I would like to know how profitable they are, and how did you get accepted / get access to them.
Are you referring to Google Custom Search for your site that automatically puts your Adsense ads on the results page?

Custom search ads are white list only, so application is via your Google account manager or your GCPP if you are working with one. We've seen Google being more selective about who gets accepted for search ads, but it does appear to still be getting rolled out to new publishers.
(Note: Custom search as are not the same as Google Custom Search, despite the confusingly similar names. CSA allow you to place ads based on a search results page of your site, using the searched for term. Revenue share is lower than on AdSense for content, but the overall results can still be very beneficial).
