We have seen a pretty significant decrease in RPM for our usual bread winner ad unit, a 320x50 ad unit shown on mobile, starting on Monday with a drop from $1.09 to $0.36 impression RPM. I assume it's the loss of all the Mother Days ad spend. Surprising that the one ad unit has had way more of a decrease in RPM compared to all ur other units, which were only down slightly. This ad unit seems pretty volatile in general with a big drop post Easter as well. But before major holidays, its been great.

I'm seeing extremely poor targetting at the moment: wrong continent, wrong currency, couldn't be more irrelevant to my visitors.

CTR is declining every single month. Idk why!

This can be : - Google invalidates more clicks than in the past, ... for example, they may be constantly refining their fraudulent click detection, or "mistaken" clicks (especially on mobiles) - "Interesting" advertisers may be abandoning Adsense, to spend more at Facebook - As a result of the previous, creatives might be less appealing - Ad blindness constantly increasing - ...

It's up and down here, some days very good , some days very bad, might be delayed stats of clicks ,... I also suspect that some ads are CPA (Cost per action), like lead, purchases, things like that, so earnings can come late ...

The last few days have been really slow despite the good start to the month. I am guessing poor targeting.

There appears to be alot of scrambling going on to prepare for the new GDPR requirement. The weeks following its full implementation will most likely to see more turbulent CPM's. I don't think it's going to be a non-event like the cookie law last time. Seems like too many networks are fully pushing it this time around.

Days like these are so discouraging, enough to make me want to try out Medianet again. They keep emailing me to give them another try, but I just get the impression Google doesn't like sites that give Medianet prominence over their own ads (although I can't say I have any proof about this, just a gut feel), which of course can result in lower Google traffic, and I need Google since it makes up some 70% of my traffic.

@Travis, Facebook is one thing taking away advertisers from Google. But the major reason is the growth of direct advertising on websites belonging to your own country with content that is created for local users. This is what I am observing after looking at dozens of sites being run by people from my country. Ecommerce stores, mobile networks, mobile phone companies, multinational corporation with presence in my country they all are now preferring direct advertising. They pay a fix amount to display their banner ads on websites. They negotiate the prices with site owners by looking at the site traffic and popularity. This way they save a lot of money.

Anyone else seeing incorrect figures on Adsense today? My page views are a lot higher than the analytics figure, which has reduced RPM

Yes, you are certainly right. And it's sure that by removing intermediates this is saving money.

Just discovered that in site authorization settings, the domain example.com is verified but when I clicked on show details, it says the sub domain www.example.com (the active version of site) is not verified :/ And I recently enabled site authorization.

The Royal Wedding today has smashed all my sites to pieces, after 14 hours of a Googleday I have not, as yet, had half the PVs of New Year's Day which is my all-time lowest ... Obviously I have also not had one single click.
This week has just gotten worse and worse with search engine referrals, yesterday I didn't even reach 50 cents, however regular business customers are still using the sites.
Business Net usage has completely and utterly changed in my widget sector and as for Joe Public, where the heck has he gone, solely to Facebook and similar?
Is this what The Net has turned into, a plethora of, sometimes controversial, gossip columns?

I don't think you can blame the royal wedding for any decline in earnings yesterday because Saturday was above average for me. CPC was 25p, just a shame I couldn't get a lot more clicks, it would have been a really good day..

The wedding has played havoc with the traffic and earnings this weekend (starting Friday). It's a write-off. Let's hope it is the wedding, not a rankings drop.
