Ad Unit Getting Higher CTR Than Usual?

One of my ad units seems to be getting a much higher CTR than it has over the last few months and I have no idea why. I’ve ran tests and do not think I am being attacked. Could Google just be counting more clicks? Does anyone know a reason this might happen?

Could it have something to do with what a roller coaster this month has been in general? This ad unit usually has a CTR of around 1 or 2% but for the last 10 days it’s been around 3 or 4%. Today it seems to be lowering back to its normal numbers but I have no idea what caused it or why it happened
