Today I noticed I’m not seeing arrows on my text ads, has anyone else seen this before? How long does it last?

I think I also see lower CTR when arrows return. Sometimes the color of the ads goes to gray in attempt to decrease accidental clicks. If this doesn't help they remove them. I think you should find a sweet spot where they don't remove the arrows and you still have some decent earnings.

@Grapetimes: Do you use text only ads? I had that issue in the past with text only. Due to accidental clicks, the arrows were gone for a month sometimes. The good news though is that they always come back.

I have been seeing text ads in cursive these days. Anyone else? Just weird and not just on my sites either. Cursive? Looks ugly!

Yes, seen them for a while like that, on mobile ads only and in gray. Are yours in gray color?

@ivok: No, mobile traffic was 10% of all, so I believe desktop traffic was the culprit.

How many times have you guys lost the arrows? Everything was going fine for about a month and a half or 2 and then suddenly one ignored my ad units started getting a way higher CTR than usual. Since then I’ve removed this ad unit. Should they come back again now that it’s been removed? Please let me know your experiences

Based on other users in this thread they do, I would just like some more information on their experiences with this. It won’t only help me but anyone else who’s ever dealt with it
