AdSense alternative for alcoholic niches

One of my websites is about alcoholic drinks, mixed drink recipes, and so on. However, AdSense has been absolutely terrible for it. Even enabling to allow Alcohol and Gambling ads, I have not seen much improvement. I'm getting around $2 or less RPM while other sites are getting $5-10 RPM. So I'm just thinking there isn't a lot of ad competition since both the CTR and CPC is low. Does anyone know of any networks that monetize better on these type of websites?

Since how long have you been seeing low RPMs?

This website has always had low RPMs in AdSense. From day 1. It's just a crappy niche for AdSense so it is harder to monetize it. But it's a shame to get 100k+ users per month and not being able to monetize them well. For example, that website makes only around $150-$300 a month on AdSense. I have never owned a website that gets over 100k users per month making that little.

The thing is I also don't see alcoholic ads on it still, so I'm not sure if that feature is just buggy in AdSense or if I need to do anything else. I've also read somewhere that alcoholic ads only work when you have age verification on your website. I don't know if that's true or not.
