Hello

I have installed the matched content code and I read that it may show some ads but in terms of "related posts" with the word "ads" beside it.

But in my case, it's showing normal ads like big banners or squares as if I am placing an ad code and not matched content. For example it's showing a 300x1000 ad...

So is this normal? I removed the code in order not to violate Adsense's rules but placing a lot of ads because the ad is literally half my page's size and not just related articles ads

How long did you have it running for? It might need time to settle in before it shows the expected ads and links to your site. Otherwise double-check your execution just to be sure.

@CommandDork I had it for like 30 mins and it was showing ads. I didn't want to keep it for long not to violate any Adsense's rules and get my account into troubles

Keep it for some hours and it will show it correctly. Don't worry.

Ya - If I remember correctly there was a "settling in" period for the Matched Content adblock.
