Did Google finally complete a BIG cleanup?

Seems like things are on the right track with AdSense

Hey guys,

So I've been spending quite a lot of time studying AdSense this year, something I honestly hadn't done before since I was pretty satisfied with the RPM and overall revenue it was providing.
But 2017 has been a pretty bad year so far for me compared to the past 2-3 years, and with the recent spammy ads "hack" and overall low coverage, I was starting to worry a lot about the future of AdSense.

But yesterday was one of the biggest RPM / Coverage / CTR / CPM days of all time, and to my knowledge, we're still far away from Christmas.
And wouldn't you know it, today was an even better day (was hoping for more trafic though), and my stats were just great.

I sincerely hope most of you are seeing the same thing that I'm seeing, and if so, I think this is quite the motivation we needed.

This all brings me to wonder if Google hasn't started a big cleanup after the spammy ads flood, and if the market is maybe now back on track with the true and (almost completely) honest auction we all deserve.

So what are your thoughts about this ? Did you have a great AdSense weekend ? Do you think Google might be finally cleaning up the mess and helping out the publishers (and itself)?

Not here - all those stats were low for me yesterday. And the coverage is almost as low as it was during that glitch earlier in the month.
