AdSense Starting Balance Posted Today Way Off

My Adsense end of the month balance last night was a particular figure which I noted. In fact, it was almost identical to June's earnings. The starting balance that AdSense has posted on my account is almost 1/3 less than my balance shown last night. It's getting to the point where AdSense isn't even worth having!

Do you mean the finalized earning (balance) are 1/3 less than adsense stats show for July?

No, vulcanian. The STARTING balance, not the ending balance for July. The STARTING balance and the ending balance are the same. June was normal. I have never had this happen before. I always make note just before midnight on the last day of the month.

No, the starting and finalized figures are the same. No penalties for invalid clicks.

I found out that the starting balance reflected almost 33% that they clawed back. Now that's nigh until impossible. I don't have much traffic anymore, and my July earnings were about the same as June. There was nothing abnormal about the traffic at all (other than it being low). In June the clawback was only 53 cents. And I'm on Cloudfare!
