I used to obsess and check several times a day but now it averages a couple of times a week.

Adsense is an ancilliary income stream for me.

I usually check the AdSense app every 1-2 days, in the morning. Mostly for yesterday's stats, no point in checking for the current day.

Once a day in the morning. Not only does that keep me informed of why the days earnings are low, high or average (my memory fails to go back reliably further than 24 hours) but it is the easiest method for me to ensure my site is still online.

I usually check about once or twice a week - more often if I expect traffic changes due to events in the news - less often in the normal slow months (summer).

What's important to me is the traffic levels.

I actually do look quite often throughout the day. If I see high earnings coming in, I can somewhat assume there are high bid ads displaying.

I then often launch an aggressive SM canvas to capitalize on the available revenue. Works well, but takes effort. Sometimes I just don't feel in the mood.

As often as my blood pressure meds will allow. Micro shocks to the system are bad healthwise. Meaning, I used to micromanage until the last hair was pulled from my balding pate. I then realized watched pots EVENTUALLY boil whether I watch or not.
