Question about Adsense verification

Apparently a common thing that PINs don't get delivered, unable to get info

Hi everyone,
I am very new to Adsense (approved in April) but I ran my set of websites for about a year before adsense already with another ad provider (and mostly affil) so my balance jumped up to verification threshold and $100 withdrawal limit pretty quickly.

I've been trying to get information about the PIN procedure but didn't find answers by googling and people on the official Adsense forums are quite hostile and not willing to give away much. What I gathered from the forum is that the PIN code is sent from the closest nearby Google office and if you don't get the third PIN the ad serving is blocked.

Now, I have requested the PIN twice so far, so I have only one left. I live in South America in a country where there is no Google office, which means it is international mail and likely to get lost. I can request the last PIN in the coming days but I don't think it will be delivered either, if they actually send it at all. I'd like to ask if anybody knows whether there is an alternative verification currently possible because that is an information I am not able to get on the official forum.

The reason is by reading through the forum there are a lot of people every single day complaining about waiting for 6 months or longer for the PIN and the PIN never arrives, and nobody on the forum gives them any answer. I have already lost a lot of revenue by missing out on May and June, the main parts of the year in my niche (that is, if I count that I will never get paid by Adsense), so in case there is no alternative verification I'll have to cut my losses and switch back to previous ad network.

Please let me know if anyone has information about this.

If you reach $100 every month, you should be able to contact AdSense support from your account.

You could also try adsense-support@google.com but that's been floating around for a while, not sure if it's still active.

Are you able to place a "hold mail" at your local mail office, and pick up the mail in person?

Also, you may want to verify the address you're giving Google for the PIN verification is (still) working for delivery.

Thanks so much for the ideas, I didn't think about the hold mail service. I'll try to find out tomorrow before contacting the support. Haven't found a mention about it on the national post's website nor facebook page but I'll surely find out from someone local.
