Hello fellow webmaster,

I added a backup ads(url) on google adsense. When I see my backup ads on my site and click on it. My backup ads still in google adsense iframe. How to make my backup ads open a new page or follow my backup ads url, when user click on it?

Adsense backup ads (url to my target page) ---> my target page link <a href="http://www.domain.com" target="_blank"><img src="url image" border="0"></a>

This is only happen on Google Chrome. I have try: target_top, self, top...etc

Hi Dan, I don't know what to say, because, the target="_blank" perfectly works for me. May be double check the HTML code to be sure there is no extra space, or quotes, or anything added accidentally.

Hi Dimitri; I only have problem with Google Chrome; FF and IE working fine. Any ideas why?

I have no idea what can be wrong (all works for me, any browser)

Did you try to create a test past, and insert yourself your backup ads page through an iframe, to see if it works ?

Don't you have plugin / add-ons which would mess the new tab / new window link ?

According to the adsense docs your are supposed to use

target="_top"
