I've noticed an ad (NRA, the gun lobby) that contains an input box so you can enter your email address.
For whatever reason, when the ad shows it creates a page jump that takes the visitor to a screen view centered on the ad.

So, in the case of first landing on a page, the visitor is taken from the page-top view down to the middle of the page where the ad happens to be showing.

I've reported this issue to Adsense.
I can't say I've noticed ads before that contained input boxes.

I can only imagine the amount of trouble I would be in if I had created a similar action on my pages to draw attention to an ad.
