Adsense shows my page views are coming down every month but my traffic is getting higher as per analytics.I also checked adsense publisher monetized pageviews in analytics which is showing growth. Couldn't understand this discrepancy.. Problem is my earning are coming down too.. Thanks in advance.

this has been the case for last few months only

Hi apvkt Welcome to WebmasterWorld [webmasterworld.com]

I don't have a lot of faith in most of Google's reports. The Adsense page views are always off IMO. There's always a discrepency between my server logs and the Adsense page view reports.

im seeing a unique problem...

1) analytics page view is up, adsense report under analytics (adsense page impression) is also raising in sync with analytics pageview. however in adsense interface page view is coming down..my earnings too

could adblockers be a factor?

You have to compare apples to apples. Try to compare the traffic/earnings on same ad unit and same country.

The problem may be that GA is over-reporting, have you checked the following:
Are you filtering referral spam?
Are you filtering your own ip, or the ip of others that may work or contribute regularly to your site?
Have you activated bot filtering?

One way to check the GA stats would be compare them against server logs.

could adblockers be a factor?

I would imagine that they could, but most ad blockers also block analytics, so it is unlikely.

Invalid clicks/pvs? These clicks are recorded as they occur thus appear in GA, and Adsense, but then only get rolled back in Adsense.

I'm speculating but seems plausible.

invalid data remains same as per adsense payment history

Invalid clicks removed at month end are different than invalid clicks rolled back immediately.

There are times when clicks and page views can be rolled back a short time (seconds, minutes) after they occur. One way to see this is, first check your PV's in your adsense account, then go to your own site, surf a bunch of pages, then return to adsense and you will see you PV's increase with the pages surfed (there is a lag). Then after an even longer lag you will notice that the PV's will be rolled back. This can and does occur with other invalid activity too. It generally goes unnoticed becomes it is small, but if there is a significant problem with invalid click activity it could become noticeable, and it would cause a difference between GA and Adsense. I am not saying this absolutely your problem but it is one thing that could cause what your are describing.

I would imagine that they could, but most ad blockers also block analytics, so it is unlikely.

AdBlock Plus, one of the bigger ones, does not block Analytics out of the box when I tested it.
