Tried the New AdSense?

What am I missing here?

I am a late adopter.
After dismissing the alert "TRY THE NEW ADSENSE" a bazillion times in the GSC, I did a search here for "new adsense interface", but found nothing until I appended 2016 to the search. Just one post, with no replies, on Sept. 1, 2016. Locked for lack of posts.

I MUST be missing something, because I would assume that there would be a HUGE INTEREST in the subject.
I want to click it, but not before reading about how easy it is to REVERT, if I don't like it.
After all, it has taken me forever to get used to the last interface update.

Anybody try it? Like it? What do you think?
Any thought about why there has been ZERO buzz on the topic?

Thanks for any replies.

It's good, better than it was, just click try, you have the option of reverting to the old one if you so choose.

Thank you for the input. I will give it a try. Soon.
Any online screenshots of the differences? Discussion of the differences?

There's a thread here from this month, not much discussion on it though.

It's flashier.... but meh.... doesn't really add functionality that I find useful.

I tried it, it looks okay but for some of the things I do it is more cumbersome and time consuming.

No great improvement on the previous one is my verdict.

I hate anything new - if it ain't broke, then for the love of Pete don't try to fix it - but I think the new interface is okay.

I assumed this would eventually become mandatory, so I just switched to it ... and sighed my acceptance.

A much needed redesign for cross platform. Just pin the features you use the most, remove those you don't use. Perfect :)

Agreed. I just assumed Googs would force it on everyone eventually so I switched over now.

It looks good at first glance but I liked it when there was green / red colors in the stats to quickly indicate if something was positive or negative, now it's all neutral, white on blue, it takes longer to understand the performance of metrics.

I am one of those who refresh the adsense page thousand times a day. The flashy blue bar hurt my eyes - I liked the white background. On the other hand, reporting is much better in the new version - I can get almost all info within the dashboard.

I like the new layout. Puts stats front and center.

Horrible, it's cured me of what was left of my checking addiction!

I dislike the new interface. I used to be able to get my basic revenue stats just by logging in. Now, to get the detail I want, I have to run reports.

However, when I do need to run more advanced reports the new interface is nice.

What I hated most was the removal of the monthly data front and centre on the old interphase. That is now back, and I can see month to date straight away.

@Chrispcritters,
I used to be able to get my basic revenue stats just by logging in.

I understand where you are coming from but this is not entirely true. You can customize the view, click on the view more icon/button near the bottom of the page, this will show you all the available cards. You can then pin the cards you want to the main view and unpin those you don't want. Then you page at login will show you what you want every time.

Note that the cards can be customized as well.

Unfortunately the cards round earning estimates (over a certain value) rather than showing the full amount.

For example:

$#,###.## is shown as $#.##K
$##,###.## is shown as $##.#K

If you need exact numbers you've got to start clicking around. There does not appear to be a way to disable the rounding.

I wish I had your problems :0)

I would send them feedback. They seem to want feedback, since if you click on the little menu icons that appear on each card the option are "help" or "feedback".

Anything to report on how the new dashboard increases revenue? If not - then why change?

It's rather good, though I do not see big difference
