Why is my monetized youtube video not earning?

Okay. I am new here and new to adsense, so please bare with me and forgive my ignorance an stupid questions.

I recently set up my youtube account with Adsense and monetized my videos (I create my own original content, so no copyright issues). I released a new video last week that has already received over 15000 views. Great right? Well, for some reason I can't explain, this video is not earning hardly anything. The video in question currently has 24,400 watch minutes this week and has earned $0.10. Another of my videos has only 102 watch minutes and has earned $0.11. I have another popular video that has 24,168 watch minute this week and has earned $8.16.

Can someone help me understand what is causing this.

Did you tie (link) it to your Adsense account?

Yes. My other videos are earning respective of their watch time. But this one video is not. I am assuming here that the problem is with adsense. I have watched the video and ads are appearing on it in the same manner as the other videos, but it is not earning. I realize that just because a person watches a video does not mean it will earn but you have to admit that a video with over 24,000 watch minutes should have earned a little more then ten cents. I wish I could post a picture of my analytics page for you to see the complete imbalance of watch time vs revenue when compared to my other videos. is there a way to do this on this forum?

AFAIK you have to do that on *each* video. Just allowing ads does not tie the video income to your Adsense account. There is an additional setting, otherwise Google keeps the income by default.

The video is monetized to earn and linked to my adsense account. It is earning, but at a mere micro-fraction of the rate my other videos are earning. I am wondering if the content of the video might be the problem or the keywords. The video in question is about hunting predators with an air rifle. Could this a possibility?

Publishers may be bidding low because of content, so your return may reflect that.

You could find some related content & social media to promote your video and get more traffic.

Thanks. I don't understand this whole bidding thing yet. I have changed some key words in the description and tags (Change the word "Kill" to Terminated, for example), so I will see if that has some effect.

The video actually has plenty of traffic. An editor on www.wideopenspaces.com (a huge outdoors website) actually wrote an article on it that has driven a lot of traffic to the video. If the video was earning at the same rate as my other videos, it would have earned over $30 this week alone. That's a huge loss of potential earnings, which is why I am here trying to figure out what is going on. Thanks for the help.
