Hi do I have to add www.example.com and example.com both in the owned sites settings ? Or example.com only will suffice? Thanks!

Yeah I got this notice from Adsense,
"In the past 7 days, your ad code has appeared a significant number of times on sites you don't own. To avoid lost revenue, make sure to add these sites to your owned sites list in Site Management."

I ignore those notices. Apparently Google did not look up the term "significant" and if your ads show up like 2 times on another site, Google labels that significant. If you are worrying about setting things up because of that, it is not really anything to worry about.
